Call for Miles | Week 1

(I’m pretty sure that is what I look like on the treadmill.)

Today (Saturday the 7th) marks the last day of week 1. How did it go? Did you have any struggles? Any triumphs?

Let me know in the comments how many miles you did this week and I’ll work on updating on the sidebar by Sunday night.

Happy Easter, everyone!

  1. I did 9! I almost didn't go yesterday because of a cranky baby but my husband encouraged me and I'm so glad he did. It's nice to have someone to push you. Next week is spring break though. I hope I can make it work with all the kids home!

  2. well... not the best week to start. my husband was gone and i was flying solo with 5 littles.

4 miles.... only because we went to thanksgiving point gardens and i'm counting it as exercise because i had my baby in the carrier and we walked for 2 hours.

next week: spring break. we'll see if it goes better.

just keep swimming... just keep swimming... just keep swimming. :)

  3. I got in 8 miles. Hope that next week goes better. I have been house sitting for some people and because of their location it has been hard to get some good runs in. I will do better next week. :)

  4. Well, I had a tremendous toothache this week, so put me down for 1 mile. But after a visit to the dentist, I'm feeling much better...so I'm not giving up! :)

  5. 18...I guess our 4 mile route each morning adds up quickly! And when you add in an extra walk to the park a couple of afternoons a week - wow! Let's see if I can keep up the pace. (Hopefully the weather warms up and the wind dies down for next week!)

  7. Amanda, you've got your Heather's mixed up! I'm Regular Heather (or I guess you could put me as Heather H) and the other Heather is Heather S. Who would have thought there'd be that many Heather's?! I was the only one growing up! :)

  8. Hey! Sorry, I forgot to put the blog in my Google Reader and so I missed the date for mile-call.

Anyway, I got 12 miles last week.

  9. I did 5 miles. I'm surprised how long it takes me to go one mile on my elliptical. I know I'll get faster though. I'm excited to keep going!

  10. On the elliptical (or other cardio equip) I've been counting 1 mile for 15 min. Now I'm curious to see how long it takes me to go one mile on it!
