Call for Miles | Week 7

Ah! I totally forgot about putting up a call for miles yesterday. Sorry! (I don’t even have an excuse – we had a nice relaxing day with little on the schedule!)

Go ahead and leave a comment telling me your miles for week 7 – which ended yesterday (Saturday).

This is for my running friends:

  1. It's me! It's me! (Heather H.) I just realized that I forgot to give you my miles last Sunday! So here goes: 2 weeks ago, 12 miles. Last week (due to illness, boo!): 6 miles. Total for the past two weeks 18 miles. I'd better get a move on this week if I'm going to accomplish the 200 mile goal I set for myself!

  2. 4 miles for two weeks ago (I forgot to report)
and 7 miles for this week.
    so 11 miles total.

we're working our way up here!

    This is interesting...
In 2005 we bought a treadmill. We figured every mile for every dollar we spent would be worth it... so we've kept track. Since 2005 I've only gone 209 miles. I've had 3 pregnancies in there and my miles disappear for a year at a time. Oops.

So for me to do 100 miles in 3 months is HUGE. And it won't happen this time around. But all the walks outside on the river trail are way cooler than treadmill miles. And this week i bought Julie P's old bike so that's a fun way to exercise with my kids.

anyhoo... sorry for the long essay.

  4. Oh man, this week was I chose not to do so well. Only 8 miles. This coming week I will get in 20. Hold me to it!

  5. Yucky cold last week kept me sleeping in, which meant fewer miles.
    4 for me.

Feeling better this week, so I'm shooting for 12!

  7. 22 from Utah! Hope it's raining on my garden at home while I'm enjoying the sunshine. How selfish is that!

  8. 35 for me! I am REALLY hoping to run a marathon in November so I am trying to have a good base before I start training in July! Wish me luck because I tend to have things going fantastically well running wise and then I will have problems with my knee all of a sudden out of no where. So this time I have been trying to be slow and steady at my progress and give myself LOTS of time before the race.

  9. I only had 20 this week because I didn't do my long run until Sunday. If I get my last long run done on schedule (saturday) I'll end up with a ton of miles next week! this is stacy by the way.
