Round 5 | Week 7

{source}

We’re a little more than half way through this challenge. How are you doing? Halfway to your goal? Several of you are on track to meet the 100 mile goal with in a week or two so you need to up your goal. Tell me what you think you can do over the next five or six weeks.

Let’s all say a huge congratulations to Timber. She has been with us since round 1, and she gave birth to a healthy little boy last night. 7 lb, 12 oz and 20” long. Welcome to the world, little William!

Leave me a comment with your miles and good luck this week!

  1. Congrats Timber! That is so exciting! I did 9 miles this week. I think I need to adjust my goal to just 100 miles.

  2. Congratulations to Timber and her new addition! I did 16 miles this week. As with any other appointment, I schedule my fitness time in my schedule as a NEED, not a want. I know that exercise is more than just a moment of sweat and good pain. It allows me to clear my head of all my current stress and focus on fulfilling my daily goals. My family and I have recognized that exercise for me provides me with energy and happy endorphines I need to be a "happy" mom. I am a much happier mom when I exercise daily. That is my motivation, what is your's?

  4. Not a good week for me. My walking partner was out of town and I just couldn't bring myself to go too much without her. I did 6.

  5. Congrats, Timber! I just love baby boys!!

    I got 12 in last week - all of it walking and none of it running, but I'm breaking in my new shoes from mother's day. I have high hopes for a hike tomorrow and my walking partner is back in town after being gone at the end of last week, so I have that accountability to look forward to, as well! (I can totally relate to needing that extra push of motivation knowing someone is counting on me!).

  6. I had a pretty good week, my son got his leg cast off finally and we were able to do some things together. Swimming, bike ride and he completed a kids triathlon yesterday. So miles this week for me are 14 and I forgot the week before also, which would be 6. I'm keeping my goal right there for now but hope to get more consistent with my son joining me.
